As part of the districts Portrait of a Graduate and in effort to help prepare you for life outside of high school, your growth as a young professional is essential! Often, a person's first impression happens virtually through an email and how you present yourself is critical. In order to help prepare you for your future professional correspondences, you will be held to the guidelines below. Any email not following these guidelines could potentially not be opened or read. Your first email should be sent to me following the guidelines below by Friday, August 26, 2016.
Subject line: - last name, fist name class period concern ex) card, marjorie 1st quiz retake Address the person you're writing to: In this case you can always start your email with- "Dear Ms. Card," - Be sure you include: -the title (Ms.) -proper punctuation -and comma Use complete sentences. All words spelled out: No text acronyms, if you're actually laughing out loud, please include that formally :) Sign your name: ex) Best, Marjorie Card
